Worship Center…..

We believe the church’s primary focus should be to seek the face of God. If God’s people could come to the place where their primary focus is on Him then we will get our eyes off of each other and true unity will result. It was David’s heart, a heart after God, which set him apart from the other leaders of Israel. This passion brought him criticism at times but he did not allow the negative to destroy his passion for his God. I long for the church to experience David’s freedom to worship with the music and with the dance, with our whole heart unto God. We must come to the point where we are more concerned with what God wants and less about what we want. Our focus must be on Him!

Bridge Builders…..

We are challenged to build bridges across denominational lines without compromising our fundamental doctrine. A bridge is a structure that spans difficult and sometimes impassable barriers. A bridge across the barrier of religion can only be built by Holy Spirit inspired engineering; where the impossible is made possible.

Making Disciples…..

Jesus gave the church it’s primary mandate and purpose in Matthew 28: 19 & 20. This passage of the “Great Commission” is sometimes forgotten. The NIV reads, “Go and make disciples of all nations….”. We believe that the church should be actively reaching out to the lost in our communities, regions, and around the world. We also believe that we cannot stop with salvation. We believe that it is imperative that we make the new converts to Christ into Disciples of Christ. The church must be deliberate about discipleship and discipleship training.

Making Friends…..

We believe that the spirit filled church will bear the fruit thereof which is; love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance. This fruit contains the fundamental qualities of real friends. Friends that accept you, encourage you, and help you in whatever circumstance you find yourself in.

Empowered Church…..

We believe that God is getting the church ready for a final massive outpouring of His Spirit upon all flesh before He returns for His Bride. We believe that the church is going to walk in a power and anointing that will surpass that which the early church walked in. Its purpose will be to bring about a massive harvest into the Kingdom of God. That “many will see and fear and put their trust in our Lord”. It is our passion and desire to be in the center of what God is doing right now, not what He did yesterday.

We believe that God is a God of signs and wonders and that it is His desire that the church be a church of signs and wonders. An empowered church operates in the gifts of the spirit, including; prophecy, wisdom, knowledge, faith, discernment, healings and miracles.

Our Calling…..

When God called us into the ministry in 1997, He gave us a clear mandate; “Prepare the way of the Lord”. More specifically to; “Prepare the Church for the Lord’s imminent return for His Bride”. He is returning for a Bride without spot or wrinkle, who have properly prepared themselves by being full of the Spirit (lamps full of oil), and watching and waiting. Calling us first to Worship, then to Pastor, is very symbolic to what God desires for His Church. Worship first (“if I be lifted up”), then Pastor and Evangelize (“I will draw all men unto me”). God has given us one scripture in particular that we are to apply to our ministry; 2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land”.

Excellence in Ministry…..

We believe that we should do everything as unto the Lord. This means that once we have sought the Lord and receive direction, we are to carry out His plan with excellence. We are to offer the best we have in all areas of our Ministry. He deserves nothing less. Proper organization and training is essential for the successful ministry of the local church. We must, however; never allow our excellence to circumvent our first love. Our passion for Christ must always be first and be the driving force for our ministry.
