Faith Worship Center Doctrinal Statement;
Based on The Nicene Creed (381 A.D.)
1. We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and that by Him all things are made. The God head is manifested in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
2. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father.
3. We believe that Jesus Christ, born of the Virgin Mary through the immaculate conception of the Holy Spirit, was crucified, died, and buried, raised on the third day, and lives eternally as Savior on behalf of all who come to Him. We believe that He is seated at the right hand of the Father in heaven and that the fullness of the Godhead dwells within Him. He is fully God and fully man. Jesus Christ has been given all authority in the heavens and in the earth. He is King of kings and Lord of lords. He is God over all. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life and no man comes to the Father except through Him. The name of Jesus Christ is the only name by which man can be saved. He is seated at the right hand of the Father and He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will have no end.
4. We believe that Jesus Christ of Nazareth, our Savior is to be received into our hearts by faith which results in a born-again experience.
5. We look forward to the rapture of the church and the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
6. We believe in the Person of the Holy Spirit who empowers and fills all believers in Jesus Christ who desire His Presence.
7. We believe in all the Gifts of the Holy Spirit (Tongues, Interpretation of Tongues, Prophecy, Word of Knowledge, Word of Wisdom, Discerning of Spirits, Faith, Healings, and Miracles). We believe that these gifts are available to all believers and are to be in operation through believers for the building up of the church and to encourage those who do not believe in the truth and the reality of God.
8. We believe the scriptures are the Holy inspired Word of God and that they represent an accurate historical record of creation, man, sin, and the redemption plan of God through Jesus Christ.
9. We believe that God loves and embraces all people from every tongue, every tribe and every nation.
10. We believe the wonderful news of God's love needs to be shared with all people in all lands.
11. We believe God loves us with an everlasting love and has come to give us a future and a hope!

When God called us into the ministry He gave us a clear mandate; “Prepare the way of the Lord”. More specifically to prepare the Church for our Lord’s imminent return for His Bride. He is returning for a Bride without spot or wrinkle, who have properly prepared themselves by being full of the Spirit (lamps full of oil), and watching and waiting. We believe that being first called to Worship, then called to Pastor is very symbolic to what God desires for his church. Worship first (“If I be lifted up”), then Pastor and Evangelize (“I will draw all men unto me”). We believe that God has given us one scripture in particular that we are to apply to our individual lives and to the Church as a whole. That scripture is; 2 Chronicles 7:14: "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land".
